SVC receives 207 cases, proceedings initiated

SRINAGAR : The State Vigilance Commission has received as many as 207 cases from the Jammu and Kashmir State Accountability Commission. Out of these 21 cases were recently listed for proceedings at Commissions office at Jammu and 16 cases were disposed of. Further proceedings for rest of the cases are being initiated.
The Commission has said that ever since its formation, it has also received complaints directly from the complainants which are being attended. The Commission is presently functioning at its Jammu Camp office and will start functioning from its allotted Srinagar office soon as the same is expected to become ready shortly.
