SRINAGAR, June 12: To review the pace of developmental activities in the constituencies of Amira Kadal, Hazratbal & Zadibal, the District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah convened a meeting of officers here today. It was given out in the meeting that 15 developmental works were taken for execution at a cost of Rs. 6.20 crore in Amira Kadal constituency. An amount of Rs. 3.75 crore were utilized for the construction work of Amira Kadal drainage system, Doodh Ganga deep drain and drainage system at Lasjan besides for the construction of Community Halls during 2012-13. While giving the details of the developmental works executed in the Hazratbal constituency, it was informed that Rs. 1.27 crore were utilized for various developmental works. The meeting was also informed that an amount of Rs. 3.15 crores were expended for the construction of drainage works, community halls at Gulshan Bagh Bota Kadal and Kani Dewar Islamia College, besides for acquisition of structures at Rajouri Kadal. The District Development Commissioner, Srinagar exhorted upon the officers to utilize the funds judiciously and achieve the tangible targets within the stipulated time frame so that benefits can percolate to the people. |
