KATHUA, June 12: During the weekly sitting being organized by district administration Kathua to attend to the grievances of the public telephonically; 18 callers registered their complaints with the DDC Kathua; Jitendra K. Singh. The complaints lodged included shortage of staff in Higher secondary School Dhar Mahanpur, posting of Ayurvedic Doctor, repair of school building in Khog Panchyats, road connectivity, lying of water pipes, improvement in the Power scenario , fixing of auto rates, clearance of pending widow pension cases, provision for crates, shortage of Ration and Revenue related problems. The DDC issued on the spot instructions to the district officers present there to address grievances within a week’s time and also advised the callers that to call back again in ‘Prayas’ if their complaints are not redressed satisfactorily. Later, the DDC also reviewed the action taken on the complaints registered in the previous Prayas and Public Grievances Cell. The ADDC Kathua Ajay Jamwal, Chief Planning Officer, Kathua, Assistant Commissioner, Development Kathua XEN’s PHE, PWD, PDD, Flood Control ,Irrigation, CMO Kathua , RTO, Kathua and district officers were also present on the occasion. |
