SRINAGAR, June 12: To regulate the fee structure and to redress the grievances of parents, District Magistrate (DM), Srinagar, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah convened a meeting of principals of various private educational institutions of district Srinagar here today. Various issues pertaining to the admission in the educational institutions availability of on-line admission forms, fee structure regulation besides sanitation and availability of transport facilities were threadbare discussed in the meeting.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar and Principals of 13 private educational institutions participated in the meeting.
District Magistrate, Srinagar on the occasion exhorted upon the concerned Principals to ensure availability of on line admission forms. He also stressed to adhere to the guidelines and norms issued by the Government from time to time and said that stern action shall be taken against those found violating these norms. He also enjoined upon the Principals of the private institutions to provide quality education to the students besides directed them to redress the grievances of the parents to ensure conducive and better parent-management relationship. |
