SRINAGAR, June 13: Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, who is Chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, chaired a review meeting here this morning and took stock of the to-date status of the arrangements being made for this year’s Shri Amarnathji Yatra which is scheduled to commence on 28thJune.
The Chairman has deputed the Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board, Mr. Navin K. Choudhary, and the Head, Engineering Division, Mr. R. K. Pandita, to visit each of the seven Yatra Camps and review the completion status of all the required arrangements, for ensuring timely preparation. The Governor has asked the CEO to prepare a Camp wise report on the to-date status of the arrangements being made by all the concerned departments and agencies. This report will be reviewed by the Governor on the CEO’s return.
As per the Governor’s directions, the CEO and his team shall spend the next three days on the tracks. |
