KISHTWAR, June 13: District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Saleem Mohammad today chaired a meeting of District Level Monitoring Committee for Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyut Yojna (RGGVY). The DDC was apprised that 67 habitations have been electrified under RGGVY in Kishtwar district against the target of 72 habitations with an expenditure of Rs 1156.153 lakh. Besides, 3 receiving stations of 33KV are also being established. The participants of the meeting also highlighted various problems like overloading, forest clearance and damaged transformers besides the local disputes over electric poles and wires in villages. The DDC directed the officers to expedite the work under the programme to ensure timely electrification of remote hamlets of Dachhan, Sarthal, Padhyarna and Padder. |
