In modern tennis, the world No. 1 is a force to reckon with and she refined her skill to the level of a master. Serena makes no qualm of the fact that she cares about tennis passionately. One wonders that how could she maintain her form which is something incredible, having been on the circuit for so long. The elements in analyzing Serena's strength may be a number of factors. It may be power, judgment, clever acumen, intelligence, devotion or strength of mind. There's simply no other way to describe her talent. But the 'Black Beauty' as she is often referred to by her fans and well-wishers, said it's all because of Patrick Mouratoglou. Recently, Serena posted a picture of them, arms entwined. "People always speak about my strength and power but I know how to do a lot more things on the court. Mouratoglou is not only my coach, she is my strength as well," the French Open champion said. Mouratoglou runs a tennis academy in France and has been working with Serena since her early departure from French Open this summer. Serena has since won Wimbledon, the US Open and gold at the Olympics. But the rumour doing the rounds that both are into a relationship. Critics say that Serena spotting with her hand in the back pocket of Mouratoglou's trousers shows their relationship could be more than just professional. As for Serena, she speaks fondly of him. "He's helped me a lot. He loves tennis too much, it's kind of crazy,' she said this week. "He says some things I don't agree with but we kind of feed off each other." |
