Minor girl kidnapping case
Police interrogates 5 suspects

BHADERWAH : Buckling under the intense pressure from the family members and relatives of a kidnapped minor girl of Nalthi village, the police finally came out of deep slumber and launched massive search operation to trace out the abducted girl and her kidnappers. The 11-year old Kajal Devi was kidnapped from Nalthi village of Bhaderwah and to locate her police today called five persons of Athkar village for questioning and after three hours of sustained interrogation they were allowed to go back to their homes. The police asked all of them to present themselves at the police station as and when required, SDPO Bhaderwah Jameel Ahmed said. He also informed that a police team since yesterday has raided the various hideouts and villages to trace out the 5th class student. However, parents of the kidnapped girl informed that they have given the name of accused to police, who hails from Nalthi village and is absconding from the day of kidnapping.
