Heavy rainfall causes damage to property

MENDHAR, Aug 7: Heavy rainfall in Mendhar town since last four days has caused extensive damage to the public property.
Most of the rivers/nallahs were over flooded and caused damage to the standing crop with land erosion especially in Gursai, Ghani, Uchaad, Salwah,Pathanateer,Narol, Chhatral, Dhargloon, Chajjla and Mankot.
Rainfall since last two days, the river water also entered in RamlilaMaidan (Hanuman Mandir) causing damage to the property. Most of the bunds at the bank of river were breached at Chujjla and Mankot and the water entered into fields causing damage to the crop. Due to continuous rain in the past the house of Gul-Hussain at Ari-Kasab was collapsed. In Salani, Kasbalari, Dharana, Sarooti, ChakBanolla and Kalaban there are reports of heavy damage to the standing crop and land erosion.
