18 callers register grievances under 'Prayas'

KATHUA, Aug 7: As many as 18 callers registered their grievances during the weekly 'Prayas' sitting, an initiative by the district administration to listen to the grievances of the public telephonically here at dc office complex in Kathua today.
The District Development Commissioner Kathua, Jitendra K. Singh , in the presence of heads of various line and works departments received the calls during hour long session and issued on spot instructions to the concerned departments to attend to the grievances and problems registered by the callers.
The problems projected by the callers from different parts of the district were mostly related to the provisions of basic amenities.
