Rajouri, Aug 7: 63 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Uniform Force organized a debate and essay writing competition for school children of Kalakote tehsil today with an aim to provide the students of government schools from Solki,Diyala, Khargala, Bhatera etc a platform to showcase their skills and learn mutually. "The competition was inaugurated by the welcoming speech of Anil Kumar Gujral, principal HSS, Sialsui, the army spokesperson said. Commanding Officer of host RR Battalion during his closing address emphasized on the need to develop skills of public speaking and motivated the participants to take maximum benefits out of such events.
At the end, prizes were distributed to the winners of each categories 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for both the competition. In Debate competition Bomesh Singh, GHSS Sialsui, Miss Rekha Sharma, GHSS,Sialsui and Udbhav Sharma,GSS, Khargala were cdecalred top three winners respectively whereas in essay writing competition Miss Anjali Kumari,GHSS Sialsui, Miss Afsana Kossar, GHSS, Solki and Deepak Kumar of GHSS,Sialsui were adjudged as winners respectively. |
