| District Jail Kishtwar organizes Iftaar party | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 7: On the directions of Director General of Prisons K Rajendra, District Jail Kishtwar organized an Iftaar party for the jail inmates. The occasion was marked with the presence of DDC Kishtwar Saleem Mohammad, SP Sunil Gupta, ASP Kulbir Singh, Dy. SP HQ Farooq Qaiser, Commandant 48 Bn SSB, BMO Kishtwar Dr. Parveez Iqbal Wani and other distinguished dignitaries.
Superintendent District Jail Kishtwar Muneer Hussain gave the welcome address and put forth details about the jail inmates and also about the problem of shortage of drinking water in jail premises having nearly 104 inmates. The DDC and SP Kishtwar also spoke on the occasionThey called upon the jail inmates to reformed their previous mistakes and embrace a life of truth, peace and harmony.
The inmates were served special meals and sweets on this occasion.
The jail authorities also brought the matter regarding the shortage of water before the DDC Kishtwar who assured them immediate help in this regard. |
