| NC `unethically' wooing Congress workers: Vakil | | | Et Report
Srinagar, Aug 22 : Former minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today lambasted the coalition partner National Conference for 'unethically wooing' Congress workers by misusing power, which he, termed as unfortunate and unrealistic. In a statement he claimed that a large number of disappointed and disillusioned NC workers were since long intending to secure their entry into the Congress 'but they were never encouraged by our party at any level and in future there is no question of granting them entry into the party as our party respects and adheres to coalition dharma, which does not allow the parties in a coalition to work against each other.' " Congress has always maintained the coalition dharma not only at the central level but at the state lever too in entire India. But unfortunately NC leaders are busy either spitting venom against Congress party or wooing our workers at every level by employing all unethical tactics," Vakil said and added that such acts will play a role in weakening the coalition system in this state. He urged Congress high command to intervene into the issue and take a serious note of such incidents 'as it will endanger the present coalition in this sensitive state which will never serve any good purpose but will rather result in affecting the working of the government.' |
