JAMMU, Sept 23: Bodies of two youth who drowned in river Tawi at Katalbatal near Nagrota, about 10 km from here, on Sunday morning were fished out today, police said.
As per police sources, the duo has been identified as Pawan Singh (23) son of Jai Singh and Sarved Singh (23) son of Chuni Lal, both residents of village Desa,Doda. "The duo drowned while taking bath in the river and police, army and locals have been searching bodies after the news of the drowning incident was received by police, police sources said. Sources added after legal formalities and postmortem, the bodies were handed over to their relatives for last rites. |
