Sagar fools Panchayat members yet again 9/23/2013 11:57:37 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 23: The elected panchayat members and the people of Ramban were fooled yet again when the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, Ali Mohammad Sagar and his deputy Vikar Rasool held a Panchayat Conference there. Sagar once again boasted of holding successful panchayati elections. The programmes he discussed were meant for future. Giving details of the conference , an advertisement issued by the concerned ministry used words like `shall be done' and `will be taken up'. Sagar , however, did not talk about the 73rd amendment in which the elected panches and sarpanches need desperately. He also diod not talk about the security and remuneration of the panchayat members. For Sagar's information, the elected Panchayat members feel cheated.
