| 4 bovine animals rescued, one smuggler arrested | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 23: Udhampur Police foiled another attempt of bovine smuggling and arrested one bovine smuggler who was transporting 04 bovine animals to Kashmir valley today.
While conducting surprise checking at National Highway near Kheri, a Police Party of Police Udhampur led by Inspector Deepak Jasrotia SHO Police Station Udhampur intercepted one persons namely Bhutto son of Raj Ali of Third Tehsil and District Udhampur who was transporting 04 bovine animals to Kashmir valley by foot.
Above mentioned accused smuggler was asked to produced proper permission for transporting these Bovine animals from one District to another but he could not produced the DM permission for transporting these Bovine to Kashmir Valley.
All the bovine animals were rescued and accused person arrested on spot. In this connection, a case FIR No.290/2013 U/S 188/RPC stands registered at Police Station Udhampur against the above named accused smuggler. |
