| PDP slams coalition govt for 'misguiding' people of Rajouri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Rajouri, Sept 23: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Monday slammed National Conference-Congress coalition in Jammu and Kashmir for 'misguiding' innocent people of border district Rajouri with bogus promises for political mileage. Addressing workers meet at far-flung area Thandapani in block Manjakote here PDP district president Abdul Qayoom Dar said that people of the border area have now completely understand the 'ill motives' of the coalition government "as they are feeling frustrated and wanted change in the regime." Dar alleged that the present government has lost moral ground to rule. He expressed deep concern over the disturbing state of affairs and added ruling NC and Congress has completely failed to address the basic problems of the people like water, road and electricity. He further said that both coalition partners were well aware of anti government pulse of people and 'now are adopting new strategy to visit different areas, issuing baseless statements and laying foundation stones of works which are not sanctioned on papers to befool the innocent poor people of twin district of Rajouri and Poonch for their vested and political interests.' Senior PDP leader advocate Ch Qammar Hussain also criticized Works Minister and MLA Rajouri for ignoring the ongoing projects and laying of foundation stones of new works the sanctions of which are nowhere in the sight. |
