| Employees' organizations allege present coalition regime of betraying them | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 23: All the representatives from different employees organizations and trade unions in one voice condemned the state government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and the government assuring to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including the pay anomalies of the clerical cadre but nothing has been done till date Recalling the agreements agreed between representatives from government and employees on 10/0308,19/02/09,14/05/10 and then on 15/09/11 wherein they employees were promised to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including the pay anomalies of the clerical cadre, the representatives of employees today in a meeting said, "it is pity nothing has been done till date in this regard.' They unenthusiastically described the Pay Anomalies Committee made by the government merely as an eye wash just to befool the clerical cadre employees. According to spokesperson, In this meeting the representative unanimously opposed the alleged secret meeting held in between the Cabinet Sub Committee members and the so called JCC representatives of the employees associations keeping their (JCC leaders) vested interest in observance they succumbed to time buying tactics of the government. Speakers in the meeting alleged that it is heard that only a hidden agenda of these so called JCC representatives were discussed in the meeting while the lakhs employees were treated just as scapegoats by these so called representatives of the employees. Babu Hussain Malik warned all the four and half lakh employees of state government to totally boycott these so called employees' representatives who are hell bent to put a spoke in the future of employees. He appealed to all the other union leaders to rise above personal egos and shun the path of division and take the struggle of the employees to its logical end and also urged them to be aware of the superficial Union leaders who are trying to sabotage the movement of the employees. Malik also urged upon the State Government to call all the representatives of all the organisations/associations of employees fraternity before coming to any final conclusion and not to sign any agreement with these so called employees representatives, otherwise employees will again come on the roads. |
