| J&K Christian Minority Association condemns Pak suicide attacks | | | Jammu, Sept 23 : J&K Christian Minority Welfare Association has condemned the twin suicide attack committed in the holy place of Christian in Peshawar North west part of Pakistan by the religious fanatics. President of the Association Michael Wazir expressed his anguish over the explosion in the historic Church situated in a very congested vicinity of Peshawar, where nearly 700 parishioners were present inside the church campus for Sunday mass. At least 56 peoples have died and 180 injured in the attack. Michael Wazir said through terrorist have no religion and such cruel acts of terrorist reflect their brutal and inhumane mindset. While expressing his sympathy with the bereaved families he said, "We the Christians all over the world respect the religious sentiments of all other communities and hold their religious places in high esteem." Wazir asked the Pakistan government to provide full proof protection to all the holy places of minority community and hoped that Pak government will take stern action against the culprits. Other who mourned the demise of Christian included Nassir Masih chairman JKCMWA Gaffor Masih, Rewal Masih, Darshan Masih and Salem Sotra. |
