Jammu, Sept 23: Prominent Kissan leader and General Secretary Bhartiya Kissan Sangh Subash Dasgotra strongly opposed the demands for enhancing the age limit for retirement of the State government employees. However, he supported other demands of employees. Commenting upon the demand for enhancing the age limit, Dasgotra said that this would badly affect the future of the lakhs of unemployed youth. Addressing a meeting of BKS activists at Marh today, he alleged that certain vested interests were behind this anti youth/anti farmers and anti people demand. He, however, supported other demands of the employees, especially those of the daily wagers and others poor workers who have not been regularized in spite of expiry of several years, and more so, they are not getting regular wages. "This is great injustice which must be ended," he added. |
