| Gupta grieved over death of pilgrims | | | Jammu, Sept 23: JKDF State President Anil Gupta expressed grief over the death of 11 pilgrims of Padder area of Kishtwar district who were killed in a tragic accident in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh when their jeep fell in rivulet near Rohali area. In his condolence message Gupta expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the family of the victims and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He appealed to the State Government for release of an interim relief of Rs 5 lakh each to the family of those who lost their lives and Rs 1 lac each to those who are injured. He also demanded for recovery of body of one of the victim Renu Devi who is still untraced.
