Jammu, Sept 23: Law Knowing People's Association , a group started by some advocates aiming at reforming society through awareness of laws, liberties and rights in Feb 2012, today registered 10000 members online .
After approving requests of 71 people to join the group LKPA at 4 pm by the convener, LKPA online members reached 10,066.
Issuing a press statement, State Convener of the association Arjun Singh Pathania said that the members are from every nook and corner of state of Jammu and Kashmir and are well connected with the day to day activities of the association.
They are advocates, law students, other law professionals, retired educated people and other awarded people.
He stated that LKPA will be forming units at various colleges and universities for the support of the masses. In addition to this, association will choose one tehsil as model tehsil where they will choose volunteers at station level. |
