| Youth Movement condemns increasing atrocities on 'Dalit Samaj' | | | early times report Kathua, Sept 23: Youth Movement has strongly condemned the increasing atrocities on the "Dalit Samaj" by the some furious organizations which are being backed by Varan-Vaivasth and caste system in Jammu and Kashmir. President of the Youth Movement Sanjeev Verma objected and pointed out the some anti-reservation organizations for making the false and baseless propaganda against the reservation to SC/ST/OBC. He said this is not genuine and not right step of the anti reservation organizations which can nothing extract except the confusion, misunderstanding and hate, while the historical facts of the Dalit Samaj which is full of discrimination "So far as the reservation is concerned it does not mean to keep Dalit Samaj away from the others. It is meant for a joint move of society to bring the Dalit Samaj from the clutches of social and economic disparities by creating opportunities on all fronts so that they could live like all," he said that reservation is not given easily it is the achievement after waging a hard struggle and sacrifices by the leaders, social workers and intellectuals of Dalit Samaj. Verma said that it was also a fact that the reservation which is being given as per the constitution of India is not a permanent, it is temporary solution as per the need of the time for the upliftment and development of beneficiaries because the country needs social and economic revolution. |
