| Jammu, Sept 27 : Addressing the ex-servicemen today in the League Office Jammu regarding the Hiranagar-Kathua, Samba episode, the president Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal (Retd) asked the ex-servicemen to be vigilant in the days ahead as such incidents may take place anywhere in this region. He informed them that he has taken up with Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners, Jammu and Samba to make use of the ex-servicemen in their area by strengthening VDCs and also issuing licenses so that they can have their weapons. He also informed them that this issue will be taken up in the state level ex-servicemen ally being held at Baru Palace, Marh Road, Jammu where Madan Lal Sharma, MP, Divisional Commissioner Shantmanu, IAS, Rajesh Kumar , IGP, Jammu, GOC 26 Inf Div, Brig Kartar Singh, Sr Vice President, Indian Ex-services League, New Delhi and Brig RS Langeh, Director Sainik Welfare, Jammu, DCs of Jammu and Samba are addressing the ex-servicemen where ex-servicemen problems including one Rank one pension will be discussed |
