Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 27 : Asserting that return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits is not possible without addressing the causes of genocide Panun Kashmir today rejects the so called Twin City model is an exercise to bail out the persecutors of the community.
Panun Kashmir today has lambasted the state government and some elements that are creating confusion in the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community regarding the return and rehabilitation of the community. Addressing the community members Sanjay Raina,Co-ordinator, Jagti unit of Panun Kashmir said, "Consecutive state and central governments have failed since 1990 in protecting the right to limb and life of the community when the Islamic fascists aided and abetted by Pakistan have launched a continuous onslaught against the Kashmiri Pandit community. He further said, "Various claims about the so called twin city and triple city were floated by the some vested interest parties aimed to give breathing space to the forces who inflicted holocaust and genocide against the Kashmiri Pandits."
Sanjay Raina said, "Panun stands on the return and rehabilitation of the community in Kashmir has been vindicated. The recent attacks on the Kashmiri Pandit employees and the community at Haal, Pulwama and other places in Kashmir upholds the stand of Panun Kashmir that the return and rehabilitation of the religiously cleansed community are two separate issues, he said. "Return is only possible when the cause of genocide and holocaust of the community is enquired and constitutional rights of the Kashmiri Pandit community
are upheld," he underlined
Chand Ji Pandita,co-ordinator, Jagti unit, said that the recent increase in the infiltration and the terrorist activities and targeting of the security forces inKashmir and the so hue and cry raised by the so called mainstream parties to revoke the AFSPA says volumes about the social and political environment of the valley.
