Jammu, Dec 3: Jammu and Kashmir Association of deaf and dumb today staged protest demonstration at press club Jammu.
According to press release, Association president Vijay Kumar Gupta said that it was very hurting fact that the world's largest minority that of disable people did not have equal access to society or services including education employment health care transportation political participation or justice.They demanded from state government to provide educational institution, ITI training institute, rehabilitation policy, reservation quota, special recruitment drive for 8th pass, rehabilitation for over aged, monthly pension of Rs. 400- Rs. 2500per month and treatment and rehabilitation facility in government medical college and other district hospitals of Jammu and Kashmir for deaf and dump persons. |
