Cong leaders rush to Delhi to complain high command about NC

Jammu, Dec 3: Worried over war of words between Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and BJP on Article 370, State Congress leaders have decided to bring this matter to the notice of the high command because party suffering due to this "verbal dual" .
Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Said Ud Din Soz has already reached New Delhi this evening and other party leaders are also expected to reach Union capital on Wednesday morning.
Insiders in the Congress said that party leaders have realized that by indulging into war words both National Conference and BJP have been attracting their respective constituencies. Congress is the biggest sufferer in case this debate on Article 370 would be further intensified in the days to come. BJP is exploiting 370 issue in Jammu region by attaching issue of women in its demand. National Conference, on the other hand, strengthens its own constituency in Kashmir Valley, by taking on this issue with BJP.
Sources said that local Congress leaders had already cautioned the high command that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's any panic reaction to Narendra Modi's speech would be proved disastrous for party in Jammu region where Congress has to fight directly with BJP. Reaction of Omar Abdullah's to Modi challenge of debate on Article 370 has generated a nationwide debate and the BJP has been racking up this issue to corner Congress at national level. By successes fully highlighting issue of discrimination with females, BJP has corned Congress indirectly.
Insiders in the Congress said that Soz and other leaders would inform Congress high command that it was all due to failure of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that BJP has been exploiting sentiments of the people by highlighting 73rd and 74th amendment issue. Furthermore Congress leaders would also inform the high command that there was no need of reacting to Narendra Modi's speech at Jammu.
