| Civil Defence organizes awareness programme | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Dec 4: Civil Defence Organization Baramulla organized an awareness programme at Sanctorium College of Education, Lalad Sopore on Disaster preparedness and mitigation under the supervision of Chief Warden Civil Defence, Baramulla
More than 200 people participated in the programme including students, teachers, CD volunteers and SDRF team. SP Sopore Imtiyaz presided over as chief guest and chairman of the college MA War as the guest of honour.
On the occasion, Dy Divisional Warden CD Dr. Shabir gave a detailed introduction of Civil Defence organization and role of CD volunteers in disaster preparedness and mitigation. It was impressed upon them that through this organization volunteers can render their noble service towards the society.
Dr IPS Bali, Divisional Warden CD, a known First Aid trainer gave presentation on importance of first aid in community first responders as disaster preparedness. |
