| Adbi Kunj holds special prose writing meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 4: With the objective to encourage writers and poets, Adbi Kunj today held a special composite creative prose writing meet at its literary centre in the premises of Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School (SMHSS). A large number of literary figures and other poetry and prose writing lovers participated from the different walks of the life. It was presided over by a prominent Punjabi short story writer and well known T.V. Drama personality Dr. Baljit Rain while critic, research scholar and writer Dr. Chanchal Bhasin was the chief guest of the meet, whereas a well known artist painter and short story writer Hardeep Kumar Deep was the Guest of Honour. Kapil Anirudh well known Dogri and Hindi poet and writer conducted the proceeding of the meet. In his welcome address Sham Talib President Adbi Kunj Jammu introduced the guests with the regular participants. It was a specially PROSE writing meet in which presented prose collections were Meri-Janam-Bhumi-Farisal an interesting Urdu write up by M.L.Gangoo Frisal. A creative Dogri paper on a Sahitay Academy award winner Dogri Noval Nanga Rukh by Dr. O.P.Sharma Sarthi presented by Kapil Anirudh, a Punjabi short story Sarprise read out by Hardeep Kumar Hardip. A symbolic Urdu short story, "Main-Shiv-Nahin" presented by Sham Talib. As usual a composite poetic roundup was also organized in which poets recited their different KALAM in various languages. |
