| Infant Jesus Higher Secondary School celebrates annual day | | | Early Times Report
HIRANAGR, Dec 4: Infant Jesus Higher Secondary School (IJHSS) Hiranagar celebrated its annual day function in School premises.
Subash Chander Gupta, Member Legislative Council and President District Congress Committee (PDCC) Kathua was Chief Guest while Joginder Kumar Sudan Chief Education Officer Kathua was the guest of honour.
Children presented various dances on retro songs and staged some message oriented skits as well. The skits stole the show with excellent dialogue delivery. Students anchored the show. Their confidence and the art of handling were praiseworthy. Sweta Sharma of 12th standard of the school thanked the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and parents for giving their valuable times to watch the function.
She also thanks staff and students who left no stones unturned in making the function a grand success. Overall, it was a memorable day. Shivalika Sharma presents annual report card of the school in a unique way. Students particularly toddlers give their best and hair raising performances. Some of the items are very touchy and down to earth and one can learn lot from these items.
In his address, Subash Chander Gupta appreciated the students and school management for such a magnificent performance. He said that this school is giving quality education since it was opened in the year 1986. He also speaks about the various policies of Union as well as state government on education particularly on the Right to Education act. Besides parents, students, Fr. Rijo John 'Principal, Sister Kirti Vice Principal, Fr. Benny Manager of the School present on the occasion. Principals of various other schools also present on this occasion. |
