| PDP holds party meet in Kathua | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Dec 3 : To gear up the party workers and political activities for upcomming assembly and parliamentary polls of 2014 with a motive to place a grand success by establishing its own regime across the state Jammu and Kashmir, the Peoples Democratic Party's state leadership has convened meeting of its workers of district at Kathua here today. The meeting was addressed by Senior most PDP leader Tarlok Singh Bajwa and senior leader PDP and Incharge for Parliamentary polls Udhampur/Doda constituency Mehboob Iqbal and laid their stress to give effective strength to the PDP and its programmes by taking them at grass root level public to root out the present failure coalition regime in coming elections so that PDP's policies and programmes could be promoted for the welfare and development of the State. They told that PDP has already declared its candidates - Yashpaul Sharma and Arshad Malik - for the two Parliamentary constituencies of Jammu region. And the candidates for assembly polls are yet to announce. They said that PDP has become the need and choice of the every citizen of the state because of its and pro-people and progressive policies which have already been tasted by the people in previous regime during the tenure of PDP. They also told that the other major motives of today's meeting at first to organize the mammoth rally public which is going to be addressed by party patron Mufti Mohamad Sayeed on 29 December 2013 at Kathua and secondly to welcome the new joining in the party at district level in which more than fifty persons were warmly welcomed as new faces in the party. |
