| District-Level Science, Mathematics exhibition concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: The two-day 29th district-level Jawahar Lal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition concluded here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Shastri Nagar today.
Director School Education Jammu, Tushar Kanti Sharma was the Chief Guest on the valedictory function while RA Inqlabi, Additional Secretary School Education department and Tahir Mustfa Malik, Under Secretary School Education department were the Guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Director School Education encouraged and appreciated the students, teachers and heads of the institutions for putting their best efforts to make the function a grand success.
At the elementary level Govt MS Satwari, Govt MS Railway Colony and Govt MS Bishnah got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. While at the Secondary Level Govt High School Gandhi Nagar, Govt Girls High School Rajpura Mangotrian and Govt High School Gole Gujral got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. At the higher Secondary level Govt HSS Channi Himat, SRML HSS Jammu and Govt HSS Domana got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes repectively.
Arif Iqbal Malik, Principal DIET Jammu presented the annual report of the programmes conducted by the DIET throughout the year. Chief Guest distributed the prizes among the winners. Omesh Khar (HOD) presented the vote of thanks while Sandhra Malhotra, HOD and menu Choudhary Lecturer conducted the proceeding of the prize distribution function. |
