| 450 rural children receive scholarship by HBET | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: 450 rural children to receive scholarship during the eight day camp launched today by Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust.
According to press release, Meera Malhotra was the chief Guest on the occasion, and she briefed about the mentorship and medical support programs run by the Trust for all round support of children.
She praised the noble efforts of Trust in not only helping the cause of education but also helping society at large to empower women.
Meera Malhotra enlightens students about the benefits of education and advised them to make full use of scholarship and support of trust. She further said that HBET was established in 1997 with the mission to change lives of needy children through literacy support programmes till date the trust had distributed over Rs. 35 lakhs in scholarships to over 2200 children. |
