| Govt's wrong policies compounding woes of common masses: PDP | | | Early Times Report
BASANTGARH (UDHAMPUR), Dec 4: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today flayed Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses. Party said that miseries of the people have increased manifold after formation of National Conference led regime in the State.
Addressing a series of public meetings in Basantgarh area of Udhampur in connection with the on going campaign of the party, PDP candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat Arshad Malik said that during five years situation in the State has been deteriorating because Omar Abdullah led government was pursuing anti-people policies.
PDP candidate aid that the State has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to wrong policies of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who has failed to connect himself with the common masses. He said since its formation this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the people. "What to say to mitigating woes of the masses, this regime has further compounded miseries of the people due to its wrong policies", he pointed out.
PDP leaders said that coalition regime was formed without any programme and policy and instead of solving basic problems of the common masses, Malik of National Conference have been befooling the people by making false promises
Criticizing Omar Abdullah led coalition regime for its failure to solve problems of the common masses, he said that this regime has failed to bring transparency and accountability in the governance.
Calling upon the party workers to educate the people about the misdeeds of this regime, Malik said that Government was neck deep in corruption from top to bottom and leaders of the ruling party have been brazenly indulged in accumulating huge wealth by misusing their position. Nasir ud Din, Ashok Sharma, Rampal and others also spoke on the occasion. |
