Jammu, Dec 4: Police arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered two kgs of poppy straw from his possession in during a naka at Panthal in Katra of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.According to police following specific information police laid a naka at Panthal in Katra belt of the district yesterday evening and intercepted a youth for his suspicious movements in the area. "During the personal frisking of the accused identified namely as Vakesh Kumar, police recovered two kgs of poppy straw from his possession, police said, adding that Kumar was arrested on the spot. A case stands registered in this regard. |
