| HC directs Principal Secretary Home to appear, explain position | | Out of Turn promotion for post of DySP | | ET REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 4 (JNF): In a contempt petition filed by one Haq Nawaz against Principal Secretary Home & Others seeking implementation of judgment whereby State High Court directed State to consider the out of turn promotion to the post of DySP for petitioner with effect from 1998.
Justice Virender Singh of State High Court after hearing Adv WS Nargal for the petitioner whereas Senior AAG Gagan Basotra for the state, took serious note and observed that it appears that Principal Secretary Home of J&K, is taking the instant case in a very causal manner and directed him to cause his appearance before the Court to explain his position for non-compliance of the judgment, so that instant contempt petition is brought to the logical end at the earliest and directed the Registry to list this case again in the week commencing December 23, 2013. |
