Majalta, Dec 14: With an objective of creating a healthier environment in educational institutions through improved preventive measures, the Govt Middle School, Bhanara in Majlata under the supervision of Zonal Education Officer Majalta, organized a Health and Hygiene Awareness Session cum Camp for girls students under Sarav Shiksha Abyiyan (SSA) in school premises. Zonal Education Officer, Majalta, Ved Parkash was the chief guest on the occasion held with sole objective to check the basic health and teach hygiene for girls students of various educational institutions of the Educational Zone Majalta. In his address Zonal Education Officer, Majalta, Ved Parkash, highlighted the aims and objectives of the Health and Hygiene Awareness Session cum Camp. He said, these types of Camp are being held to educate children on prevention and importance of basic hygienic measures such as washing hands with soap before preparing food, before eating, before feeding a child and after defecation. Students and faculty members from Govt. Middle School Baryalta, Govt Middle School, Kail, Govt Middle School Paldai and Govt Primary School Pattani participated in this Hygiene Camp. Later, the students of various educational institution were examined by the Medical team from Primary Health Centre, Majalta. Zonal Education Planning Officer, Nizam-U-Din, Headmasters of various education institutions, staff members, Village Education Committee, sarpanches, panches were also present on the occasion. |
