jammu, Dec 14: General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Kuldeep Kumar Gupta told that the team for Senior (Boys) category has been selected for All India "A" Grade Kabaddi tournament scheduled to be held at Shahid Bhagat Singh Maidan Kalachowki, Mumbai which is leaving for participation on 14th Dec. 2013 prior to participation in "A" Grade Kabaddi Championship from 16th to 20th Dec.2013 to be held at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The State Association has conducted Coaching Camp 3rd Dec. to 13th Dec.2013 at District Police Line Kabaddi Play Field, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Inspector Kuldeep Handoo, International Player and Sports Officer of J&K Police Flag Off Boys team before participation in "A" Grade Kabaddi Championship in the presence of other office bearers Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, Anil Modi Press Secretary, Surinder Mohan Gupta Joint Secretary Bhupinder Singh Vice- President of the Association and Sub-Inspector Ankush Chib and Sangram Singh.
Further Anil Gupta also announced if the State team will won any first three positions, they will be suitably awarded with Cash Prizes individually;
The organizing committee of the Championship has also decided Cash Award for Winner team Rs.2.00 lacs + trophy, Runner team Rs.1.00 lac + trophy, Third place team Rs.50,000/-, Best Player of the tournament Rs.25,000/- Best Raider of the tournament Rs.15000/- and Best Player of the day Rs.5000/- during the Championship.
The Boys team alongwith the officials after selected teams underwent a Coaching camp under the guidance of expert Manik Sharma NIS Kabaddi-Coach Police Line Jammu.
