Hunger strike of selected Jail Warden candidates enters 13th day

Jammu, Dec 14: The hunger strike of selected Jail Warden Candidates in Police Department entered 13th day today. Agitating activists today staged a semi-nude protest outside Press Club Jammu. One of the activists said, "We are feeling it as shameful to be part of the biggest democracy in the world as we are protesting in favour of our genuine demands for the last 13 days, but till date, no one from the government has came to listen to our grievances".
He further said that similar to him, about 1200 candidates were appeared in the interview of the Jail Warden candidate, but till now the selection list is awaited, which was described as the biggest failure of the government by the activists protesting outside press club here in Jammu;
They warned that if their demands are not met, they will come to block the roads and said: "For the inconvenience to public, Government will be responsible.
