| Two acquitted, arrest warrants issued to three in 'narcotic smuggling' case | | | early times report Jammu, Dec 14 (JNF): Principal Sessions Judge Kathua AK Koul has acquitted two accused who were facing trial in charas (narcotic) smuggling as prosecution miserably failed while court issued general arrest warrants against three others booked u/s 512 CrPC. Principal Sessions Judge Kathua AK Koul has acquitted two accused namely Shesh Paul Singh and Mohd.Aslam Dar who were facing trial in charas smuggling as prosecution miserably failed. Court issued General Arrest Warrants against Kafil Ahmed, Nilesh Kumar and Younis Ali u/s 512 CrPC. According to the police case that on 19/7/11, a police party intercepted a Scorpio bearing registration No. 4283-DL3CAJ, at naka check point Lakhanpur, during the course of routine checking. On search of the vehicle, 12 packets of charas weighing 5 kilograms, were recovered from the said vehicle and registered a case and after completion of investigation presented challan in the Court. |
