Officials of Central Co-operative Bank booked

Jammu, Dec14 : City police today registered a case against officials of Central Co-operative Bank Super Bazaar for allegedly passing loans by fraudulent means.
Sources said that complainant, Ramnik Singh son of Danwant Singh of Bakshi Nagar, Krishan Lal Mehra and his son Rajesh Mehra residents of Roop Nagar reported that the branch had passed loans in their favour which they had never applied. Complainants came to know about the fraud after notices served to them by the bank about the loans.
Later, the matter was investigated by Crime Branch and a case under FIR No. 74/13 under sections 420, 467, 468, 409 and 20B has been registered at city police station.
SHO city Bharat Sharma said that a case has been registered and bank officials would be called in future for questioning.
