Jammu, Dec 26: J&K Kranti Dal today remembered the Martyrs Shaheed Udham Singh on his Birth Anniversary, which falls on 26th of December and paid rich floral to late freedom fighter.
During the memorial service here today, Kranti Dal general secretary Pritam Sharma and others garlanded the photo graph and also distributed sweets.
Remembering the late freedom fighter Kranti Dal General Secretary Pritam Sharma described him (Shaheed Udham Singh) as a youth with will determination and a feeling of sacrifice and love for the country and countrymen and thus he assassinated the killer of hundreds of innocents at Jalianwala Bagh Amritsar on 13th of April, 1919, the General Dyre London.
The function was organized by City Office Kranti Dal, Indira Chowk, Jammu under the supervision of Kranti Dal General Secretary.
Among others who paid tributes included Rajinder Bhagat, Tarun Gupta, Akhil Gandotra, Nitin Walia, Amit Menia, Vijay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Lokesh Rattan and others. |
