| UGC Refresher Course in IT concludes at JU | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 26: A three week long UGC Refresher Course in Information Technology being organized by Academic Staff College JU in collaboration with Dept of Computer Science & IT concluded today. Prof Desh Bandhu, Director,College Development Council, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Prof Deshbandhu in his address highlighted the major role that IT is playing in the day to day affairs of the people. Prof Deshbandhu also briefly touched upon the latest IT software's that are being used in teaching and research.
Around twenty five college and university teachers are attending there fresher course.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Vibhakar Mansotra HOD of Computer Science Department dwelt in detail about the various contours of IT and Computer Science that would be covered in the three week long course. |
