| MTA condoles demise of Dr Wakhloo, Dr Gupt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 26: Medical Teachers Association (MTA), Jammu has condoled the demise of Prof (Dr) R L Wakhloo and Prof (Dr) Om Prakash Gupt, both of whom passed away few days back.
In a meeting of executive body of MTA held in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), the members expressed grief over the demise of Prof (Dr) R L Wakhloo, former Professor of Gynae & Obstetrics, GMC Jammu and Principal GMC, Srinagar and Prof (Dr.) Om Prakash Gupt, former Prof. & Head Deptt of Hindi, University of Jammu.
Prof Wakhloo was father of Dr Ajay Wakhloo, Assistant Professor Gynae & Obstetrics, GMC Jammu while Prof. Gupta was father of Dr. Mritiyunjay, Associate Professor of Physiology, GMC Jammu.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Tariq Azad, Professor of Surgery and President of MTA Jammu in his office.
Rich tributes were paid to the departed souls and their great qualities of head and heart were highlighted. Two minutes silence was observed and it was prayed that the souls of both legendry teachers rest in peace.
