| Veteran Trade Unionist joins PDP along with supporters | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 26: Veteran Trade Unionist and Ex-President, Non Gazetted Employees Union, Krishan Chand along with his supporters today joined the People's Democratic Party (P.D.P.) under the chairmanship of Senior leaders of the party. Among the senior leaders included S. Rangil Singh, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, Falail Singh, Yashpaul Sharma, MLC & contesting candidate of PDP for Jammu-Poonch constituency, Balbir Singh, Depinder Kour and R K Bali among others. Welcoming Krishan Chand into the PDP, S Rangil Singh said that PDP is fastly emerging as the people's friendly party because of its policies propagated by Mufti Mohd. Sayeed which is impressing the people to join it with scores and scores and exuded confidence that the next government will be of PDP. Krishan Chand, while exhorting the leadership of PDP said that he has decided to join the PDP on seeing the employees friendly government during Mufti's regime when no agitation was made for any demand of the employees but the present coalition has always backtracked from the promises made by them with employees leader's which has caused a lot of resentment among the rank and file of the employees community.
