Jammu, Dec 26: Criticizing the state government for its failure on all fronts, Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of NPP & Member of NIC today said that governance has failed in all disciplines mainly on the situation dealing with law and order, health, administration, recruitment, education, Panchayati Raj and proved a threat to security of state by alleged import of terror from Pakistan via Nepal.
Addressing a press conference here today at Press Club of Jammu, chief Patron NPP, Prof Bhim Singh, said, "The so-called interim report of the enquiring judge (one man commission) is totally mala fide and drawn only to mislead the people and benefit the ruling National Conference.
Referring to the 'Kishtwar August 9 disturbances, he said, "The state government played a mischief by appointing a retired High Court Judge to probe the matter and in a bid to play hide and seek with the Supreme Court of India which is hearing the case of riots in Kishtwar. "The so-called interim report of the enquiring judge is totally mala fide and drawn only to mislead the people and benefit the ruling National Conference, he added.
Prof Singh said, " Nearly five years, people of Jammu and Kashmir remained subject to oppression and suppression hundreds of minor boys suffering in jails and police stations."
He also added that nearly 15 lakh refugees and migrants from Pakistan, POK, Chhamb, Deva-Batala and the latest toll of the migrants from Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Doda, Reasi etc too have remained neglected and suffering because of the hostile attitude of the NC-Congress Govt.
He reminded on this occasion that in spite of Supreme Court's judgment Jammu migrants (mostly in Talwara), the migrants have not been paid balanced relief of Rs. 21 crores.
He also pin pointed that grave danger to the security of the state has been caused by the NC-Congress governments by importing 282 Pakistani terrorists in India via Nepal with their 35 wives holding Pakistani passports and nearly 400 other people. He also mentioned that the Panthers Party has challenged government decision to given fixed salaries to fresh employees (NGO) at the rate of Rs3500 in the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile he also has sought Governor's intervention in Prison Wardens Selection while he personally called on the protesting selected candidates of Prison Department at Press club, Jammu today.
