ABSMS extends support to JCC protest on Jan 8

Jammu, Jan 4 : While extending support to protese call given by Joint Consultative Committee (JCC), Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sang (ABSMS) has appealed all the state government employees to observe sit in protets on January 8 at Press Club Jammu.
In a meeting of ABSMS executive members under the chairmanship of its president Dev Anand Gill, the participating members decided to extend their support to statewide protest called by Joint Consultative Committee (JCC), in support of employees demands.
Addressing meeting, Gill appealed Municipal workers employees to participate in the protest demonstration on Jan 8, in support of their demands including enhancement in retirement age from 58 to 60 years, regularization of daily-rated workers, casual laborers and need-based workers engaged after 1994, removal of pay anomalies and budgetary support for public sector undertakings.
Among present in the meeting included Sahazadi Gill, Amar Mommen, Yash Pal, Rash Pal, Hardev Singh, Sohan Mottan , Tersem Hans, Chaman Lal, Raju and others.
