On December 30, the Crime Branch had submitted a list of 12 candidates who according to it had got admission in MBBS through CET paper purchase fraud to the High Court and a copy was forwarded to the BOPEE for necessary action. Later the High Court had asked the BOPEE to submit Action Taken Report (ATR) by or before the next date of hearing of the matter.
Though BOPEE is likely to cancel the admissions of the 12 candidates against whom the Crime Branch has established a case of fraud but sources told KNS that the Board may issue show cause notices to these candidates before proceeding ahead against them.
