| GDC Udh RD contingent brings laurels to College | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Feb 10: NCC cadets of Govt Degree College (GDC) , Udhampur brought laurels for the college and J&K NCC Directorate by bagging trophies and medals in recently concluded Republic Day, 2014 in New Delhi.
Cadets Vivek, Paras Khan and Pankaj got an opportunity to be a part of NCC squad on Rajpath before the Nation whereas Cadets Rakesh, Neha and Jimmy Rajput participated in PM's Rally. "These cadets along with the other cadets of the state have a distinguished role in bringing the J&K NCC Directorate to 8th position and conferred a trophy of the best improved directorate of NCC, spokesperson of college said. Statementy also added Cadet Tanya Jamwal was a part of guard of honour during the PM's rally and all the cadets worked hard in coordination to bring the J&K NCC Directorate to 1st position in Line Area, 4th position in Flag Area and 5th position in cultural competition.
Prof S.S. Bhalwal, Principal of the college has felicitated the cadets for their exemplary achievements in ceremony attended by large section of faculty members. Lt Kamal Kishore, ANO, Boys and Prof G R Verma, Caretaker, NCC Girls were also present on the occasion. |
