Jammu, Feb10: With an aim to provide the educational assistance to the children of far flung and inaccessible areas of Nowshera Tehsil, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Jhangar, under Uniform Force, distributed Library books, furniture and laboratory items to Government Middle School, Kalsian, today.
Almirahs with glass shelves, Steel Almirah, Dictionaries of various kinds, General Knowledge Books, NDA/CDS Books, Globes, Compound Microscopes, Test Tubes, Flasks and Beakers etc. were handed over to Naresh Bal, Headmaster of the school. The students and teachers expressed their gratitude to the Army for providing such facilities to the school, which will go a long way in imparting the quality education to the students.
